Apple AirTag is a tracking device used to track objects which are lost or misplaced. If you doubt setting up your AirTag. The procedure to set up this device is very simple, follow the steps given below before you attach or slip it into an object to track them.

Steps to Connect AirTag with Apple ID/iPhone

Make sure your iPhone is updated to IOS 14.5 or later, enable Find My App, turn on Bluetooth, and connect your iPhone to the internet using Wifi or cellular data.

  1. After unboxing remove the plastic cover protecting your AirTag and gently pull the tab from the battery. You will hear a sound which means the AirTag is on.
  2. Bring the AirTag near the iPhone which you are going to pair it with. Your phone will detect the tracker and a prompt will appear on the screen to guide you through the process.
  3. Tap Connect and you will be asked to select a name for your AirTag from a list of options. For example, if you are going to attach it with your keys then select “Keys” as the name.
  4. Confirm that you want to register your AirTag to your Apple ID by tapping on continue.

If you want to set up more than one AirTag do it one by one. Now you are all set to use AirTag to track and find your object attached with it. Open Find My and tap on Items and your AirTag will be listed and the map will show the last known location and the time it was discovered. Tap an item from the list below to get detailed information or to put it on Lost Mode.
