Create You Own Facebook Avatar – How to | Simple Spets

Here are the simple steps that how you can create your own customized avatar on Facebook and use it.

Facebook always looks to keep its users engaged and up to date with the latest features that are trending on the Internet. One such recent feature is Facebook Avatar. The Facebook Avatar is nothing but an animated cartoon version of yourself that can be customized according to your choice. Customization includes a variety of face shapes, hairstyles, outfits, and many facial features like eye color and skin type. This feature is considered to be an answer to Bitmoji and Apple’s Memoji, as the Facebook Avatar looks very similar to them.

Once you create your own Facebook Avatar, you can share it as a Facebook post and use it in your Facebook Messenger chats. The Avatars can also be shared on different social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, and WhatsApp. The Avatar can be used across gadgets once it is created in the Facebook app. Follow the simple steps given below to create your own Facebook Avatar.

How to create a Facebook Avatar.

  • Open the Facebook app on your iPhone or Android device.
  • Tap the hamburger icon (three vertical lines), which is the more option found on the bottom right corner of the screen.
  • A list of options will slide out from the right, scroll down and tap on the “See More” option.
  • Tap on Avatars, the first option shown under See More.
  • Tap “Next” on the screen which will show example avatar characters.
  • Select “Get Started” to customize your Facebook Avatar.

Facebook Avatar Customization

  1. First, select a skin tone from the examples given and hit “Next.”
  2. You will move on to the hairstyle section, select either of Short, Medium, or Long and select the color of your hair.
  3. Now select your avatar’s face shape and complexion.
  4. Select the shape of your eyes and the color of your eyes.
  5. Next, customize your eyebrow shape and color.
  6. Add glasses to your avatar if you want or skip it.
  7. Now customize the shape and size of your mouth and nose.
  8. Finally choose a body shape and an outfit for your avatar.
  • Now you will be able to see an approximate cartoon avatar of yourself.
  • Click “Next” and “Done” to use your Avatar.

Use the avatar that you created by tapping on the share icon, the avatar can be shared as a post or set as your new Facebook profile picture. There is another icon below that which will show the multiple stickers available for your avatar, you can choose any one of them. Tap the edit icon if you are not satisfied with the avatar you created and do the corrections.

Avatars can be used in the comments section of a Facebook Post, you will find all your stickers when you click the smiley icon in your keypad. Share it across platforms and update your avatar according to your latest looks.
