The first public beta version of Android 12 OS has released on the first day of the Google I/O 2021 event. Google is now allowing interested users to enroll themselves for the beta version on the Android 12 beta website. This latest version of Android OS can be downloaded on 22 devices globally so far. Google has partnered with many companies to roll out the OS for their users and started receiving feedback about the bugs that will be fixed in the future.

The “Material You” system is used to give this biggest design update in Android history. The update brings great privacy options which allows us to know which app is using what data from our device, we can also disable any feature of the phone that an app is using. With a brand new user interface and wide range of design changes, Android users will find it easier to navigate in their devices. The quick settings have a fresh look with the toggles being replaced with big buttons that are clearer. The camera and the microphone can be disabled with a single tap on phones using Android 12 OS. New animations are attractive to the eyes and rounded buttons complement the overall design. Notification toggles have also been updated for a better experience. The Android remote feature can control any Android TV and is found to be very useful.

How to Install this Android Uppdate.

The installation process differs according to the manufacturer of the phone. The following steps can be used to install Android 12 Beta on OnePlus phones.
  • If you get a notification about installation of software, tap on it and continue.
  • Otherwise, open Settings.
  • Tap on System and click on System Updates
  • Tap on the top right corner icon and select Local Upgrade.
  • Click on the corresponding installation package.
  • Tap upgrade and wait till it gets completed.
  • Restart your OnePlus phone once the upgrade is over.

There are many problems and bugs to be fixed in this upgrade, hence it is not recommended for daily use. The video call function is not available on OnePlus phones. Many features will not be available on most of the phones and they are expected in the official release of Android 12 which will happen soon after the issues are fixed.mwa
