Moto G5S plus: the best at this price

The G5S Plus, one of the latest device in Moto G Series offers amazing value for money with a 5.5-inch full-HD display, 64GB storage, 4GB of RAM, and with 2GHz octa-core processor. As the Specs talks more about the value of money, this article will surely give you a complete idea of the performance of the mobile. Among the improvements are a larger display, a faster Snapdragon 625, and improved camera sensor on the back, and a larger battery.

Design and Build Quality

The Moto G5S Plus features an all-metal unibody housing with premium design. Though the phone looks little bulk it is design makes it much more comfortable to use in single hand. The fingerprint sensor is placed beneath the display. At the bottom, it has the USB 2.0 port with a single mono speaker and the 3.5mm headphone jack is located at the top. It has a thick camera hump at the back, which makes the phone uncomfortable to keep it on the flat surface.

Display

The Moto G5S Plus 5.5″ IPS LCD, 1,920×1,080px resolution, 401ppi is very sharp and gives a clear image. Its display felt quite bright even at all-but minimal brightness, so I was still able to keep the device on the ultra-low end of the brightness scale while using it outdoors. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Camera

The Moto G5S Plus comes with dual rear cameras, the G5S Plus brings a larger screen and a whole lot of cameras. It’s now a dual 13MP setup at the back  with autofocus and  dual LED flash which captures  4K videos and also has slow motion camera mode.

Front facing camera 8MP, f/2.0 aperture with fixed focus. On Moto G series, Moto G5 S Plus  has front flash for those who loves selfie even at low light.

Performance

The Moto G5S Plus is generally a quick and responsive phone. The Moto G5s Plus performance is great for a phone that costs hundreds of pounds less than top-end models. Games also run very well without any lagging. Even a high graphics game like Asphalt 8 runs well.

User Interface

The Moto G5S Plus runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The software experience here is similar to what we saw back with the G5 Plus.  It has a few customizations like the Moto Actions and the Moto display. It has a sensible list of gestures. UI part of Moto G5s Plus is very smooth, where lenovo mobiles not even touched it.

Fingerprint Sensor

The fingerprint sensor is located below the display is well accessible and is well responsive. The sensor also acts as the gesture control for navigation whichis very much easy to access. Sensor is very much quick when compared to other mobiles on these price range.

Battery

The Moto G5S Plus has a 3,000mAh battery, one you don’t have any access to. This is a head-scratching spec when the smaller Moto G5S has the same capacity battery. Once charged, the mobile would last for a day of moderate usage but it charges much faster.
