Haptic feedback is a feature found in most of the touchscreen devices like smartphones and tablets. This feature is there to give the users a sensation in response to the touches they make. While many like the haptic feedback feature, some don’t. This article is going to help you turn off the keyboard vibration on your device.
The steps given below can be used by Android smartphone or Tablet users. The options mentioned might be named differently on different devices depending on the manufacturer. Try to find a similar option inside your phone Settings and follow the steps below.
How to disable Keyboard vibration
- Unlock your Android device and open the Settings app.
- Select Sounds and Vibrations from the list of options displayed.
- Find the Samsung Keyboard option if you are a Samsung user or find a similar option in your smartphone.
- Switch off the toggle next to Samsung Keyboard below the Vibrations section.
The vibration will turn off if the toggle is grey and you can make it come back by turning it on (green). All the options with respect to the phone’s sound and vibration settings can be disabled or enabled inside Sounds and Vibrations.
